Well done mfc

Haven’t really read the board today so not sure the topics but just thought I’d add well done to mfc for rolling on next years ST. I know it’s an easy option given all that’s happens but let’s be honest they didn’t have to do well done mfc.

I agree Zorro, as a Goldie ST holder I’m happy with that.
It’s going to be interesting how they will handle the situation if a number of fans are allowed back towards the end of this season. Will it be a free for all like the Bournemouth trial game? Personally, I hope not, especially if I miss out again !!

Seasons over before fans are allowed back in (in the Championship) so unless we get in the play offs its not an issue.

I bought our STs for this season a year ago - earlybird, them rolling it over is what they had no choice of doing, can't exactly take our money and make us pay again and then let someone who hadn't t renewed only pay once. We are only getting what we have paid for.

Lets see what other clubs offer. Swansea is the one we know so far and it isnt the same as our deal. I linked the Swans deal on Season Card Roll Over thread.
Plus we don't think all clubs are writing off the streans of games from this season.

I also bought a ST last year and its great they will rollover for next season, but the club have given me access to watch every home game live on the internet for nothing this year.

I feel that our club have been more than fair and I appreciate how I have been treated, It will be interesting to see if other clubs treat their fans

Sorry I'm not being negative and I appreciate some clubs may be shafting fans but this time last year I paid for 2 adult plus 2 kids tickets. Again I appreciate no one could of forseen the year ahead. Yes the free stream has been good although if I paid £10 for it I'd be disappointed with quality of coverage as its not the best.
Over £1000 upfront FOR 4 STs is not peanuts, so I can't see how other clubs are not doing the same. Shame on them if the fob fans of with free streams for the price of a STs or in my case 4 STs. Hopefully the majority of clubs will follow Mfc.
Maybe some of the players on ridiculous wages could help the situation.
I honestly thought football would learn from this and treat fans right- THAT'S AIMED AT CLUBS NOT HONURING PREPAID STS NOT BORO

Norwich City who look likely to get promoted of course say:-
At City we were given the option of a refund or to pay this season’s fees and then have next season free in lieu. Those who opted for a refund can reapply for next season but will have no priority.

All STHs were given free access to iFollow for all home games and midweek away games this season.

Fair enough you paid £1000 up front in good faith and the club has come good , so I guess we are both of the same opinion that the club have come good and treated their ST's with respect. I didn't mean to come across as having a go at you just felt I had been treated
well

Fully agree 👍 the club have done the right thing, but can't see how other clubs can't follow. As you've stated the key word is RESPECT, clubs not honouring prepaid STs are a disgrace.

It's a worthwhile gesture, as has been said you got free streams for games. Not the same I know but I have paid about 200 on games this season as a non season ticket holder so, as I said nice gesture to the St fans

I think it's both a sensible (and clever) decision by the club. Last season there were some refunds which were welcome but for next season they are rolling the payment over. This ensures none of last seasons ST holders fail to renew and they are also protected from any cost of inflation rise. When you think how much revenue the club has lost and will continue to lose this season it is an excellent gesture. As many have said in the past, season tickets alone bring in many millions, and then there's all the concessions too.

I wonder if the EFL have binned FFP for a couple of seasons. That means Gibson can put more money in that would have been possible.
I guess the club think promotion is unlikely this season. Good to start planning for next season early.

I suspect if FFP is on hold Warnock will have a nice warchest to spend.
