Really enjoying the new album. Being in the car CD constantly since I bought it. Its never going to be Blue or Green album or Pinkerton but I like it. Sits somewhere between Maladroit and the Red album.

This kind of music just doesn't suit 50-year-olds singing/ playing it, it's like how Blink 182 can't sing about fcucking dogs up the a$$ anymore, although they might still do :ROFLMAO:

I was gonna say 40 year olds, but didn't realise how old rivers was, where did the last 20 years go!

My name is Jonas is my fave Weezer track.

Can't listen to them now, not any albums after Maladroit anyway, as it just kinds of spoils the memory for me.
 
No Blink 182 dont still sing about fcucking dogs up the a$$. They have moved on. :giggle: Some of their recent stuff has been ok. Still like Blink 182 as well as Weezer. You should check out White album or Everything Will Be Alright in the End or OH Human. Some good stuff on them. As I said none are Blue album or Pinkerton but how many bands 15 albums in capture their initial glories. Not may I would guess.
 
Weezer's cover of Paranoid Android is superb.
The Blue album is still my favourite album, El Scorchio is my favourite ever Weezer song.
 
Recently got some demos from Rivers Cuomo's site. Demos from all periods. Many better than the album tracks from same time line. There are loads on YouTube where people have made their own albums from various demos. Some are cracking
