Weak as pi$$

The entire team is so weak they get knocked off the ball by a breath of wind, that first goal was like watching human pinball, mcgree and Giles especially, so many times today was man and boy stuff.

Has there ever been a physically weaker midfield played than Jones, howson, hackney and mcgree.

Also what does lenihan bring to the team, I thought he was meant to be an organiser?

Said the same on numerous platforms.

We have no leaders. No shouty b*stards. No nastiness. We are soft, weak - both mentally and physically - and lack a real winners mentality.

It's proper sh*t.

It’s not just physical weakness either. They’re mentally very weak.

As someone else said they're mentally weak too

No leaders in that team, lenihan was meant to be one but is a massive downgrade on the defence we had last season. Howson wouldn’t get the armband in any other team in the league, total field-mouse, when we concede he just trudges back to his position with his head down, far cry from Leadbetter or some of the names from yesteryear, been a problem for years yet still it persists window after window farting around at the edges signing fancy Dan loan strikers and unfit bench warmers

I thought we’d looked very fragile recently and knew we were beaten. During the game today as it was edging towards full time I was thinking it had been an improvement by the players mentally, digging in, showing a bit of steel and not capitulating. If we’d seen it out I would have been reasonably satisfied with a point, as I don’t think we done enough to deserve to take all 3. Low and behold, very fragile at the death with weak organisation/responsibility/overall defending.
