We need to start talking about Michael Carrick

If after two weeks of training ground work there isn’t a vast improvement in the players looking “more like a team” then you do have to question what is happening at hurworth as we look a lot less than the sum of our parts and that is down to carrick. He gets most praise based on how he turned around wilders group of players when he arrived last season and got them playing well together but it will look most likely it was all down to Akpom rather than Carrick and all he did was stick him a bit further back in the pitch a la joelinton.
 
MC is part to blame but our recruitment team are useless, signing unknown players from overseas minor leagues rather than proven championship ones.
 
& the chairman and the chief executive, they’ve done summat wrong too.
Not sure what mind. And Grant and Woody what do they know about footy?
Sorry for the sarcasm, i’m over this loss quicker than Cov 🙂
