I feel we are about to start producing some wins consistently....and play good football
Once we bed in the new signings we could do a Norwich when they went up and keep scoring all the way to the top
This league is very up and down result wise
We just need to tighten the back up and chrisssy wilder is taking the mighty boro up.....
I think last night was a blow but I'd rather concede a late one than be desperately trying to scrabble a draw away from home .
It's a positive feom a negative
Maybe

I just had a look at Norwich's promotion campaign of 2018/19 and in their first five league games they conceded 10 and only won once.

It just goes to show you that nothing is won or lost in August, and the meltdowns from some fans is completely unnecessary.

Looking forward to the window closing and finally having a settled squad.

I think so too.

We were very, very unlucky not to win last night. It was a wonderful dominant performance.

The plan has been clear from day one - get rid of various players that don’t fit, replace them with quality youngish players that do. It’s taken a while to move some on, like Spence, that have generated fees, and it’s taken a while to move on others that needed to be off the books to help FFP on the wages front.

We now have a couple of strikers in and we have managed to get Mowatt to replace Tavernier - what a plus he was last night - which is great work by the club in the circumstances and they deserve real credit for that. Very good performance from McGree too in the 10 and it’s fantastic to finally have a good left wing back fizzing balls over.

Just a few tweaks to go now. The team play has been fantastic and we are well on the road. Wilder is brilliant. It’s been a great club effort in challenging circumstances and after a lot of false starts since Karanka’s time we finally have a proper strategy to deal with how the championship and Premier league have changed so much in the last five years. It’s on.

I echo these sentiments. You could see the start of something last season, and it's what I based my decision on buying my first ever season ticket on. Me and my little lad have loved the games.
I love the championship, it's a great league to be in - when you're doing well.
I think this is the first time in all my years of supporting boro that we have a proper long term structure in place, and it's working.

Strap yourselves in, it's going to get exciting.
