Buckle up, the season has finally started and the Boro are going up. No half measures. See you at Wembley.

People scoffed when I posted it the other day, but I maintain it - the Boro are going up with Michael Carrick. I think we’ll be up and running now and will quickly hunt down the pack. And the good thing is we’re mounting our run earlier than last season, so we have ample time to nail it.For the League Cup final? As obviously we're going up automatically.![]()
If you went today, and I doubt you did....you would know we are absolutely miles away from being a top 6 side.People scoffed when I posted it the other day, but I maintain it - the Boro are going up with Michael Carrick. I think we might’ve bottomed out in the first half at Hillsborough. Carrick had clearly b*llocked them at half time, he’d made changes and there was a sense of urgency in our play for the first 20-25mins of the second half. That was so important today. We should be up and running now. Bring it on.I feel like such a traitor moaning to get rid of him after the Sheff wed game. It was rock bottom. But there is only one way to go from there and that’s right up the league.
If we play like that every week we will soon start getting results. We could have easily scored a few more today on the break. Can’t wait for coburn to score. Think he all round play has been great.
We didn’t.. we got 3 points.. that’s what top six teams doIf you went today, and I doubt you did....you would know we are absolutely miles away from being a top 6 side.
I don't mind people getting carried away but that's just foolish....
And bottom of the league teams seemingly?!!!We didn’t.. we got 3 points.. that’s what top six teams do
Toight! And bottom of the league teams seemingly?!!!
Hope so Viv, fantastic result especially after going behind, I think it sickened a lot on here as they were hoping old hoof ball might show his face again. I don't think Gibson would entertain him again tbh, I certainly don't want to see that style of rubbish football again.Buckle up, the season has finally started and the Boro are going up. I wasn’t there yesterday - I can’t really justify £100+ rail travel and £30+ ticket costs at the moment - but watched the game and thought we played well. I saw the Huddersfield game and thought we had some decent moments, the second halves of Blackburn and West Brom, most of the QPR match and watched us at Hillsborough. There has been some good patches but we’ve been generally quite chaotic. The nadir was the first half at Hillsborough.Hope so Viv, fantastic result especially after going behind, I think it sickened a lot on here as they were hoping old hoof ball might show his face again. Nice to see good posters like yourself get behind their team, its very difficult to do when we aren't doing well, but glad to see you post positive hopes for Carrick and the team.
Not unusual to see some posters put the boot in, they of course are entitled to do so.
I never went yesterday too, and I'm local Teessider, I'm hoping to go at the back end of November all being well.
I wont use a dodgy stick, so at the moment I watch if we are on - Sky,TNT or the highlight playbacks on You Tube. Although I do get the run down from my sons.
I cant comment on the full match, but we look like we could have had a couple more?
