Can't blame him, you're not going to top refereeing the World Cup Final. Wayne has been an incredible referee and is up there with Nigel Owens as one of the greats.

Hilarious memories of him addressing 18 stone French forwards in fluent French to get his point across.

Seen a lot of him at prem level and used to think he was a pain in backside but once you saw him on TV miked up you realise he was actually spotting things other refs would often miss.

I would love to hear the refs in football like we can in rugby.

it would be embarrassing for them to start with but i think it would improve performance in the long run.
