Two or Three.. aged 24-30

André Ayew 5'9 31yo - "give us a bell at the end of the season if your looking for a club"
Famara Diedhiou 6'4 28yo - not one we looked at in January apparently.. but seems to be a fan
Nick Powell 6'0 26 - something a bit different to what we currently have?

but then there's if we get promoted..
are we looking at another two or three there?
or another 11 to compete with the top lads in the squad?

A 1st choice keeper
Diedhiou and Powell would be great , but we will have competition for them .
A restructure of the recruitment team with Newy installed as top dog .

I’ve already stated I would work for a free jacket and some tracky bottoms.. nothing.

That’s why ended up getting in contact with Barcelona, obviously I was after a bit extra from Barca and they tried to pull a fast one.

Big lads!! but have they got the quality?
Mowatt will fancy a move I would have thought.
Caulker is 6’3 - still immense
Betinelli’s kicking is supposed to be his biggest asset.. our strikers might be letting him down!

We 100% looked at and tried to get Diedhieu.
 
Do you not think Dejan Stojanvic could still have a future here. I know NW wants a vocal keeper so if his english isn’t great that could count against him.
 
We need players who will be able to play in the premier league , at least for the 1st season .
Getting up is the hard bit , then staying up .
I honestly think we have the talent in
Bolasie , Kebano , Watmore and Tav to be as good as any in this league ATM
Play them 4 together from now on and see what happens .
 
I think there's quite a bit to sort out. All the focus is getting a new forward or two in the mould of a target man, but we've only shored up the wings short term. Kebano, Bolasie, Mendez-Laing all might not be here next season. Then there is the issue of no permanent goal keeper.
 
Diédhiou, Mowett and Morrison all out of contact and all fit down the spine.

Bolasie and NML are also availible for nothing so very much playing for a new deal or offer.

I saw a list of champo players going out of contract and I thought 5-6 can more than do a job. I think players simply ain't been offered new deals because clubs can't match what they are currently on.

I actually think going off yesterday's comments the purse string maybe loosend for the right player. We can't really expect to throw money around after covid.

You could probably pay 2-3 players on Britts wage alone. We definitely need a keeper and a big No9 (probably 2 forwards).
 
We need a goalie and a CB before anything.
NW needs to find his 'Chris Morgan'. A defence that consists of full backs and a midfielder has only just got away with it. We've had no backup for Hall and Fry all season.

Exactly this. I think it’s more than 2 or 3. It could be at least 2 strikers, assuming Britt definitely goes or 3 with Fletcher leaving. I can’t see Bolasie staying next year or Kebano if Fulham come down. I guess Browne could fill one of the slots if fit. Then there’s the keeper.

Would love to see a CM who can come in and dominate the ball like Jensen did for Brentford or Sawyers used to do for them. I like Kasey Palmer personally or Jon Swift but he’s been out most of the season.

Dont get me wrong I don’t think it’s panic stations. We’ve got a good base and there are players out there but competition for signatures will make it tough. Maybe Warnock has had encouraging conversations already.
 
Warnock reckons 2 or 3 . I believe nearer to 5-6. Couple of keepers, defender, one creative midfielder, 2 strikers. And depending on the loanees, may need a wide man.

Be interesting times for us that’s for sure
 
Yep, another very busy window in store I think.

Realistically looking like at least one striker, 2-3 wingers (dependent on the future of our current loanees, short term contracts), a keeper and more legs in midfield.

It's arguably only the defence which might not change.
 
I would be looking to loan another keeper, not sure if he would drop down but Gazzaniga from spurs would be a good signing. He's on loan at elche this season.
