Warnock staying next season

We've got a few games of televised football to advertise to the local football fans.

How we play will have a big effect on next season's sales.
I genuinely don't think it will. These are times we have never experienced before and people will be itching to get back. Even if we fall short this season, when all the dust has settled, the majority will agree that it has still been a much better season than most of us thought it would be. Combine all that with a few exciting signings which I have no doubt we will make, and I think our attendances will surprise a few people (obviously if stadiums are allowed full capacities once again).

Such fantastic news! Well done MFC and Neil Warnock. Thing is as well, I can’t see that NW would be doing this if Steve Gibson had not offered some sort of assurances about those other things they were going to talk about. So, in anticipation of a good deal of forward momentum from here, well done SG too.

Warnock undoubtedly deserves another season to give it a go.

I am a bit concerned at where this leaves us 12 months down the line, Warnock isn't getting any younger and after 2.5 years we will very much be in the mold of a warnock team and squad, we really need to be thinking now at what comes next, as I think Warnock is a bit of a one off in terms of his man management and how he goes about things, we might need to be prepared for another rebuild in 12 months as you aren't geting a like for like replacement.

Mick Mcarthy seems to be doing ok at Cardiff, Warnock will build a strong Championship side who fit the requirements of the league and most of all compete for promotion.

I’m happy with that news but don’t understand the favourite manager ever tag. He’s got to achieve something here. Mr Warnock knows that too.

I agree, but a further years stability and building a squad far stronger than he inherited will give us time to put further plans in place

Great news👏👍

A bit of continuity. The players will know how they fit in next season. I am sure they will know if they ain't fancied.

I always thought it was happing. The fact he kept saying 'I know what we need' and players signing new deals.

I'm probably looking forward to a another Warnock pre season and hopefully fans in more than what's left of this year. The players at least know they are playing for their future.

Pleased with this. For me it's about being competitive in the Championship and NW ensures that for next season, will worry about the premier if and when we get there. Long term planning these days doesn't come from the first team manager it's from the Chief Executive or Director of Football.....in our case it's the owner.....

You find I broke the news today and few days back. Your just shy to own up to it thank you.
I think you will find that I GUESSED it before you did.
If you look back at my posts I think I said around 2 weeks ago that it sounds like he is staying. The only difference being that I dont like to pretend I know something I dont and then say I told you so when it happens.

I think the most encouraging thing about this news is the promise of some stability at the club, without it looking like a rudderless ship; as it has done for a long time pre NW.

Its strange isn't it? I absolutely didn't want Warnock to be our manager - I just didn't like or rate him. I also didn't want Woodgate for similar (not exactly the same) reasons.
Never been so happy to be wrong and so disappointed to be right.
Great news today. He is a very good manager, particularly in this league.
