Wales Back in Full Lockdown From Friday

It's such an urgent measure it can wait until Friday.

"Make sure the lads and lasses get a full weeks wage in, give Rishi some time to send some money our way and let the folks stock up on pasta and bog roll"

Welsh First Minister is playing with politics by stating it's to save the NHS.

It's more to allow people the space to prepare for full lock down. Get arrangements in place, childcare sorted for people who are nurses and parents, allow people to stock up, organise any work from home.

Wales are f*cked, tell you what we all are, we should have followed New Zealands direction, they're sorted compared to us.

It's not just about the cash though is it.

Why do we have 4 countries in a supposed union all off on different paths.

Answer - Boris Johnson with an ultra right wing crony government feeding their friends from the public purse. Hopefully the populations of all four countries now agree with that.

I thought the Scientists from SAGE were advocating a lockdown for the whole country including Wales?
 
Interesting they have specified it is 2 weeks and will not be extended beyond the 2 weeks.

I wouldn't take that bet. It's BOUND to be extended. I still believe the "circuit breaker" fortnight long lockdown might have had some effect, about 4 weeks ago. Seems pointless now, the virus is so prevalent it'll just kick the can down the road now.

Yep.

They don't just assess the affects these Lockdowns have on the actual virus, they all assess how well the general public adhere to the dictated rules (they're not guidleines anymore) and extend it if there is no unrest.
Easier for the politicians to have us all under semi-martial law than having to actually work out an effective plan to get us through this.

I predict end of January when the Welsh will be allowed to leave their homes only to find nothing left to visit. Unless it's a supermarket, Amazon warehouse or the dole office.
