Agree mate, tough decision, hard call, glad I'm not the one who decides which way this goes
Hope everythings OK coluka & UTMB 👍

I would be surprised if it went in any other direction than it played out behind closed doors as they have planned. I appreciate a good few supporters will be pleased just to have football in any form back and thats fine, I just wish patience was a thing that could be applied, but as I have said before, It really is all about the money, money, money. Jessie J was wrong.

Football is not that important still, we have more important things to worry about. However I feel that footballers and everyone else involved will probably be some of the safest people in the country with all the testing and other measures being put in place as long as they follow what they are told do off the pitch. I guess the whole thing will be virtually virus free so extremely little risk. Unfortunately not like our fellow citizens in nursing homes where staff still cannot get enough tests and now some of the most vulnerable in our society are being told they can go out in the community
inspire of a number of medics saying it's still too risky for anyone to do so. When football starts it's going to be unusual, but everyone is in the same position, who goes up, stays up or goes down, good luck, it has been done so under the rules which have been agreed.

Won’t it take just one player to test positive and then in theory that whole squad are going to have to self isolate for two weeks at home - if that happens at say three or four clubs then the whole season is in chaos again surely 🤔

Season should be finished when its safe to play with fans present, doesnt matter if thats 2021/2022, finish this season as its unfair on the rest of the league to just scrap it after 75% of the games have been played.

I disagree. Focus on planning for the future, not flogging this dead season to the last.
A few behind closed doors matches could decide the big issues amongst impacted clubs only if they wanted to.
Playing 9 more matches each for the "integrity" of this season is a joke, against everything that has happened in recent months.

How can a non contact sport like cricket wait until August to attempt a restart, while a major contact sport like football can kick off in mid June?
