Hi mate I replied on the other post but not sure if it will come back to page 1 this my reply.

Yes they did. I was contacted by a member of their loyalty team who asked why I was leaving them.

I explained that it was purely financial as they were trying to increase my bill by nearly £40 a month. I did say that I was close to leaving prior to this as I was not happy with what I was currently paying.

He offered me the same deal I was currently on

That was £18 less than I was currently paying and £53 less than they told me it was going to cost.

Really happy with the deal and should see me through a few rises until I have to do it all again.
Give it a go dont take the deal off the first person you speak to. Tell them you are leaving and they will call back

I knocked Virgin's offer back, then knocked their second offer back. They put me through to a bloke with a Teesside accent and I got it for £56 a month. We were paying over £80. That was late last year.

I don't get anywhere near what the first replier got. We have the phone, WiFi and TV package but no Sky TV packages. We have the BT Sport package.

if I cancel and put the contract in the name of my wife I can get the starter package on better terms.

My last bill was £150 * with a “discount”.

was the call back during lockdown and was it your landline or mobile?

It was about 12 days ago and was to my mobile. Virgin confirmed it through e mail.

I would go with sky myself but where I live their broadband speed is pitiful.
