Viktor Gyökeres

Not sure he fits out style to be honest. He's a great target for a counter attacking team but didn't see him link up particularly well (mainly as there was around 90 yards to the nearest blue shirt).

I thought he was really good tonight as a lone striker. A right handful and an assist.

Posed us more problems than Akpom and Archer did their defence.
I don't think he's - only - a big unit, 20 odd goals.. was a good target tonight but thought we handled him well enough over 3 games..

We may see how good he is in PL soon enough..

Big step up to the PL but he seems to have the physical attributes and tenacity to do quite well in my opinion.

Been the best striker in the championship over the last two seasons for me.

He is not premier standard. In the main bosed by tommy smith and a paddy mcnair. Not the best defenders even at champo level. He is an adam armstrong , very limited at top level

On what I have seen of him over these last three games I haven’t been particularly impressed.

Coventry set out not to lose three times and playing so isolated he wasn’t that effective.

I thought he was much better last season at the Riverside when they were much more on the front foot and they supported him.

He will find it much tougher in the premier league as well. That team tonight playing like that would get picked off pretty quickly week in week out.

I think they will play more football if they go up.

Their manager really deserves a lot of credit for what he has done with pretty limited resources.

Something like a 40% sell on clause to Brighton otherwise think he’d be gone already (maybe to us as was Wilders number one target). They must want at least 15m for themselves so you have to pay £21m.

Don’t think we’d pay that kind of cash again after the Assombolonga fiasco

I cant see how he would prosper playing in our side the way we have gone about things the last 10 games, who is going to feed him? who plays alongside him?

Did we show him too much respect? We were playing 10 yards further back than usual
Potentially.

We did well to keep him wide and deep first half (always seemed to pick the ball up in front of the dugout) but he had free reign after they scored and it opened up.

EPL sides will grow wise to his wide starting position. He'll probably end up in the front row more times than he'll score goals.

The best 'back to goal' and actual No9 in the champo. I'd say arguably the best player in the champo.

What a handful. He is an absolute beast. I think hell do well in the prem. He will certainly ruffle the feathers of a few prem CBs.

The difference between the two sides for me.
