Has he been a success at Boro and Leeds?

How many successful buys has had?

The Leeds fans are not keen on him.

Did he buy Raphina, Bamford, Harrison, the young dutch guy summerville who scored against Leeds, Meslier. Not too shabby.

Ezgjan Alioski was recommended to Boro while Orta was still here , he soon left and his 1st signing was you guessed it, Ezgjan Alioski for Leeds .
Boils my blood that one .
He then stole Bamford and Adam Forshaw .
Raphinha was a good signing at £17m then sold for £50m so he did sign some good ones .

We made money on his transfers.. we made some of the worse transfer decisions in our history when he left.

We had a dreadful January window, we ended up having a caretaker manager the VO left us and went straight to Leeds.

Tony Mowbray was the don of transfers mind..
Agree on Mowbray, he built the spine of a promotion winning team.

Yup. Wasn't just the obvious ones like Leadbitter, Friend and Adomah either.

Had an eye for a good freebie or low fee player, who might be slightly flawed, but still had something to offer and added something to a squad when we had very few resources.

The likes of Haroun, Ledesma, Ogbeche, Varga and Carayol all had their limitations but they cost nowt and all added something to the squad during a period where spending £1.5m on Lukas Jutkiewicz was seen as a big money signing for us.

Some Leeds fans seem to dislike him and blame him for it going wrong under Bielsa by not getting the right players in, which left him with just a first 11 and then loads of kids to fill the bench.
