From the Gazette: A veterinary nurse has advised people to keep their dogs off beaches after seeing increasing numbers of pets falling ill.

Brogan Proud runs Yorkshire Coast Pet Care and works with several veterinary practices along the North East coast.

She said they have been "inundated" with people reporting pets with vomiting and diarrhoea after walks on the beaches.

I wonder if it is related to all those dead crabs that washed ashore?
That was my thinking but could be wrong.

Before Christmas, we had dead Guillemot's being washed up, then the crabs, lobsters, etc. Then there we had starfish being washed up.

Just sat having a coffee in the sun at the Stray Cafe looking out over Huntcliff.
