Very poor today

Didnt deserve the win , even though a worldy save prevented it. No sense of urgency, slow predictable nothing football. Boss to blame for me, he seems to happy with today.....worryingly.

Completely disagree.
We were better than them in every department, and should have won it at the end.
Woodgate's substitutes got us back in to a game we shouldn't have been behind in.

First half was poor from both teams.
 
Didn't think we were too bad. It was a game of passes a yard short by both sides, so a bit clumsy, but the first 15 mins I thought it was a really entertaining game which went flat in the middle and we picked up again after equalizing. They were clearly happy with a point on the road (nothing unusual there) and we were going for all 3.

Spence a bit off today, wing a bit quiet, tav not hitting top gear, Coulson great for his time on field, britt could've done better, fletcher caused problems and but for the finest save you'll see in any game today, it could and should've been a win.

Woodgate's subs were the right choices st the right times, he's turning into a half decent manager after a shaky start.

Overall, more positives than negatives
 
5 at the back didn't work today, they were well organised and forced us to play backwards as there were too few options and we didn't have anyone able to carry the ball. Having said that, was pretty equal until they scored.

Once we went 4 at the back it was a different story, with Coulson we had someone who could carry the ball at pace and stretch them. Should have won given chances created and intent once falling behind.

No we have more options I'd prefer we went back to 442, put Howson and McNair central midfield to provide more drive and mobility than Wing and Saville can offer.
 
Coulson and Wing were our best players today. Howson has never played well in midfield compared with RB and CB. The three players subbed were the poorest players today.
 
We were poor first half but I thought we started to overpower Blackburn towards the end of the match.

The team is inexperienced and the younger players still learning, I think we are doing ok.

Their goal was disappointing though, we should have stopped that at several stages.

Ref was poor yet again, we don’t seem to get much off them in my opinion.

Their goal was poor by us, they waltzed it through the red shirts, shouldn't have let them get a shot off IMO

Agree and if they hadn’t scored I think we would have won the match comfortably. Since we got players sent off a few weeks back we have stopped going in hard when we need to, Woodgate needs to get that sorted, sometimes you need to take a yellow card.
 
I thought we played reasonably well today. A period in the middle of the game where both teams were sloppy and slow but we deserved to win I think.

We’ve got midfielders at centre back, a side full of young lads and key injuries and yet still came from behind to get a point. Difficult to complain too much about that today in my opinion.

I even thought Gestede came on and did well, miss aside.

Oh and I may be a little bit in love with Coulson.
 
I was a bit disappointed although the work in progress is showing we are now becoming a capable side. I felt we overworked the passing to much and didnt make our forwards work near the 18 yard box. It was a chance to pick up 3 points gone, but never mind.
 
We were winning and top of the form league before Roberts came so we haven't been the same team since the loanees arrived.
 
Surprised and disappointed with the team he picked, the two also rans Saville and McNair have shown me they just arent consistently good enough for us in this division. Wing was much the same,poor and needed too many touches when it dropped to him. Woodgate got it wrong from the off,and moaned later about not moving the ball quick enough. Saville and McNair want it easy and arent quick enough upstairs unfortunately always will be. Get shot, see if we can get reasonable money for them both. The weather made it tough but hes reverted back to Pulis ball, never went out show the home fans they can lift their game and try and mix it with the bottom team. He stood with hands in his pockets waiting for a fluke the gormless sod, should have put on Morrisson and Tav. Got what he deserved and undone lots of good work and feeling.

Yes I thought selection was questionable, agree about Saville and McNair although I think Saville has more about him upstairs than McNair who has neither the touch or speed of thought for a midfielder. Definitely should have put Tav and Morrison on instead of Britt and Gestede who just don’t look interested, also should have left Spence on. I think Woodgate got it wrong today, and listening to his interview on Tees I think he realised he had,
I hope so, we need a very good performance at Barnsley. Very disturbing performance today in my opinion, it made me think we have some problems with attitude in the squad and I’ve not thought that before today. Luton looked like they wanted it more and that was the worst thing.
 
Another disappionting display in front of a good turn out, needs more than a bit of luck and hes not getting any with the injuries thats for sure. Leeds could be very messy for him or his and our salvation. Another crap journey home, but we need at least a point on Wednesday and to lift their spirits and get behind them.
