Very down.

I'm still feeling pretty low to be honest. Football has always been an escapism thing for me. I'd been on a bit of a high leading up to the game and I'm sure I'd still be on that high now if we all had Wembley to look forward to.

Didn't help that I went through to the club shop this morning and it was of course eerily quiet outside the stadium - such a contrast from Wednesday night.

It will all change I'm sure once the fixtures come out but I do feel at this moment in time it's difficult to predict how we'll do next season. The loanees on the whole have been key players for us, so if none of them come back it's going to mean there will be a massive overhaul this summer.

I think many are thinking back to Karanka and remembering that he took us up the season after we finished in the playoffs, and we're hoping history will repeat itself. This may well happen but at the same time, that was a different manager and a different team.

As I said, it's difficult to predict how things will pan out for us next season. I just sincerely hope we don't look back on this as a missed opportunity in years to come.

I would happily put money on two of the three relegated teams getting the top two next season. They're big flipping clubs with massive budgets ffs.

If Leeds, Southampton and Leicester were in the championship this season Coventry and Luton would not be in the playoff final it's that simple
Everton are a basket case, with the most demanding home crowd in football and no money, Leeds are weak as anything, whose best players are injured or leaving and don't spend. Southampton are Walcott, Ward Prowse and a bunch of 11 year olds.

It's just as easy to hyperbolically dismiss the opposition as it is big them up.

The only thing that concerned me was the poor ending to the season which was very reminiscent of the 2021/22 ending. Hopefully we dont have a poor start to the next season

We'll see how it plays out you're taking the 'Those teams will finish below boro' and I'm taking the 'Those teams will finish above boro' if one of them does and boro finish second I'll happily give you the win. 🤞👍😂

If you are still wallowing in doom and gloom OP consider this. Cameron Archer and Jacob Ramsey chose to come to Boro because of who the coach was. I think in Carrick we have a man who can persuade good loanees to the Club from Premier League teams and Europe rather like Kompany has done at Burnley. MC has had just one window and that was good for a mid season one. I trust him to improve us this Summer.
