Same here. I struggle enough with the Grand Tours, but when I don't know any riders at all...

Vuelta should be good. It's always hard to know whether injured riders will be OK again, and will riders who did the TDF a few weeks ago be any good in this, or will they be exhausted?
 
Naughty Nairo is out, drug offences at the TDF. Painkillers, so not perfornance enhancing, but disappointing to see nevertheless.

As far as I can see he has been retrospectively dq’d from the Tour de France this year. However he isn’t out of the Vuelta. (Yet anyway).
 
My mistake - I thought he was out of the Vuelta - serves me right for getting my news on Twitter!
 
Maybe - I think he rode himself to the limit getting his decent TDF results, and back to back grand tours are a challenge for any mere mortals. But he does look good value at 10 points. But what do I know - I usually finish bottom!

Personally going to avoid anybody who rode the TdF. It usually catches up with them by week 3
 
Changed my 2nd climber about four times now. Otherwise my team looks good and balanced. Always love La Vuelta. Looking forward to the race starting proper in Spain.
 
Ok so finalised my team. I’ve had a shocking season so far with my only win being the womens tdf. So low hopes.
 
Beginning to think my tactic of avoiding Rog and Evanpoel was not the masterstroke I was hoping it would be.
