Velogames 2022 - The VUELTA Open for Entries 🇪🇸🚴🏽‍♀️

And much to ponder, like "Is Dumoulin shyte now"?
He's been shyte for a couple of years now hasnt he? Not been on the podium in a multi stage race since the 2018 Tour. Couple of good ITTs (silver at Tokyo Olympics) My dilemna is over a cheapish Landa. He's been trolling me for the past few Tours.

Landa flops every time I pick him. I put him in and took him out within 5 minutes. :)

I watched a bit of that this afternoon (Cav certainly wears his heart on his sleeve) after this Dunkerque first-stage finish. Welsford doing his best Sagan/Cav impersonation and rightfully relegated.

That was a terrible piece of riding. I know De Lie went for a small gap, but it was big enough when he went for it ....until Welsford got his elbows out like a prop forward. Could have killed someone.
Especially cheesed off as De Lie is in my CQ team this year.

Couldn’t open that French website video so here is brief highlight video of yesterdays chaotic finish. Welsford rightly demoted.

And there'll be a record ten Brits at the Grande Partenza, including three in the EF squad. Judging by PCS archives I believe the previous record was nine in 2009.

Without the Slovenians am really looking forward to the next 3 weeks. Very open. Particularly looking forward to seeing Budapest and the countryside there.

I've just cancelled my ES subscription as getting it via Discovery Plus now.
All good apart from having to put up with Adam Blyth.

Just looking through the teams. I am very light on sprinters compared with almost everyone else. Maybe a mistake.
Hopefully I'll make up for it in GC and hilly stages.
