Betting tip. Nizzolo is 17-1 on Paddy Power for Green. Fill your boots. 😘
Would this pay out if the tour is cancelled half way through? Say after Stage 11 or 12

Nizzollo is an in form sprinter but its rare out and out sprinters win it these days. Van Aert or Sagan to win it again

Sagan isn't the rider of 12 or 24 months ago. Van Aert and Sagan and Allaphillipe will share between them the puncher point stages. Therefore yes I could see an out and out sprinter winning the green jersey this year. As for curtailing the Tour they may pay out on whoever is holding the jersey at that time.

I agree with what you are saying with Sagan and sharing the points of puncher stages but same could be said with the sprinters sharing the flat stage. Ewan, Bennet and Nizzolo could all pick up stages. The punchers will pick minor points up in the flat stages as well as points in the hilly stages whereas it is doubtful Nizzolo will be collecting anything from the hillier stages. Sagan also seems to be more aggressive in the intermediate sprints. I think for a sprinter to win it they would need to challenge the intermediate sprints more often.

I accept that and hence why Sagan is still odds on and Nizzolo a much higher price. Nizzolo in particular can manage the slopes. Ill say no more on the subject ( taps nose)

If people are sensitive about the result of stages being divulged live as it happens Ive setbup a separate thread and warn about spoilers.
Good idea A_T.

I remember getting some abuse for posting a result in the old velogames thread on the old board :ROFLMAO:

Well I had a good day in the official Le Tour game ... but we don't appear to have a thread for that. I should move up a few places in the velo games league too. Cracking race today.
