Van McCoy's 'The Hustle'

We really should. As an aside to this, does your username have anything to do with Dennis Rofe?
Yes. One of my first games I was quite shocked when a Leicester player was stretchered off and my dad told me he probably had a broken leg. I'm pretty sure it was Dennis Rofe.

Leaving the ground music.... guess it will be one of lifes mysteries, bernard cant remember, tried loads of times on here to locate it , even a fan whistled it on you tube... still no definitive answer, nearest I think is the Shuffle.... could do with a TV recording of them leaving the pitch in the early to mid 70s to hear it... over to you Erimus?

I'll remember that tune to the day I die
The only info Bernard Gent could remember about it was that'd come from a 70's car TV ad.

Great video that. Something that struck me, the passion and noise generated. Totally eclipses modern day atmospheres. Oh to return to raw throated Teessiders giving it their all....

Thought so. He was a tough tackling left back wasn't he? Can still picture him.

Lol it was me!!

Everybody was whistling it on the way out 😁😁

Isn't that the same time though?
The game finishes and we all left the ground straight away
Not saying the Shuffle wasn't played - it definitely was - just not sure when 🤔

No. I can hear both in my head now. The renault advert was a completely different tune which I hear in my head but can't find anywhere!
