Seriously, a very good shout, he's performing miracles so far. I'd say I hope they make the playoffs but not if it reduces our chances.

We talk a lot about the moneyball approach with players. I wonder if there might be more in it in relation to managers?

Barnsley's last 3 appointments have all moved them forward. OK, Stendel ended up getting sacked, but he left them in a higer division than when he took over, so it's a net positive. Struber and Ismael have done really for them. 3 successful appointments in a row is pretty rare.
