Usyk to have a better heavyweight resume than fury

No real quality in depth to make even that an achievable goal but fury had legacy in his grasp and he appears he would rather wash his hands of it. If a boxer presents a credible challenge to another and that man declines it but remains active then it can be considered a loss in my opinion. That said, who can usyk defeat to best furys record? Dubois isnt up to much at all. Its boring now anyway, HW scene is a pantomime and its out season

They are all avoiding each other. It's stupid. Heavyweight boxing isn't half of what it should be.
Exactly my thoughts. I used to be quite into boxing but nowadays the whole heavyweight division just makes me cringe. I would happily see all the British names have their teeth knocked out as well, I'd have never said that about Lennox or Bruno or whatever.

Has Usyk avoided somebody and I’ve not seen? Last I heard he accepted every single ridiculous demand fury asked of him?

Yet still they watch Fury ........& say he's crap , but he wins lol .......would they ppv for usyk v dubois etc in such numbers ...........if the bloke was a fraud he would of been done by now !!!!!!!!

As a more casual fan I'd be more likely to cough up for Usyk v Dubois than anything involving Fury or Joshua.

I despise the whole Fury clan - especially him. Picks his fights on social media then finds a way of pulling out. Tells us it's not about money but wants a ridiculous slice of the purse to put off the likes of Usyk who accepted then he put up some other barrier.

He can fight, he's shown it with Wilder et al, but as for building a legacy...he seems to prefer to build a wall and hide behind it.

He made his own demands as well but that doesn’t fit the anti fury narrative
What were his own demands? Giving up 70% of the purse and countering with asking fury to donate £1m to the Ukraine relief fund as a token gesture isn’t really gonna be a straw that breaks the camels back is it.

If there is demands I’m not aware of I’m happy to be told however

He asked for 70/30 split in the rematch clause in usyk favour

Only if Usyk won the first fight I assume? Why shouldn’t that be the case? Under no circumstance should somebody challenging for every belt in a division be entitled to a 70% grab!

So yeah, not really a dealbreaker is it

The 1 Million donation to Ukraine was unfair I think. You get into the realms of politics if you accept that condition. Regardless of the merits of such a donation and any perceived morality (or lack thereof) on the part of Fury for not agreeing to it, that was an unfair clause.

Agree about Fury. Lets be real about it though. He is probably the best heavyweight alive right now. I hated him pre klitschko, and for a few years after that. But when he came back into the game and spoke so candidly about his issues and was constantly backing himself up with his performances in the ring, you couldnt help but admire him.
More recently though he's turned into a caricature of himself. Destroying much of the legacy that he has built up.
Boxing ability - unquestionable
The way he conducts himself - questionable

Usyk has beaten Joshua, who looks like a lamb going to slaughter every time he gets in the ring since he lost his unbeaten tag and Tony Bellew!! There really is no comparison. I understand people not liking Fury but you cannot compare their records. If the fight does happen, Usyk is underdog.
