US view on how the UK has handled the virus

Its scary isn't it - 0.01% of the World Pop but 10% of the World's dead from CV19 - despite 6 weeks of lock down.

We don't seem to be know much about the virus such as how many have got it? how many have had it? is there herd immunity?, what the chance of getting it from touching things compared with airborne droplets? how long does the virus stay live on materials such as plastic, paper, metal, glass etc?

We are almost 2 months in from the first confirmed death in the UK and 4 months world wide!
 
The picture could continue to change. Russia and Brazil look to be in bigger trouble now and, if herd immunity IS the only way out of this (and we don’t know yet), many countries have been (understandably) kicking the can down the road. No one knows how this will pan out yet really. At one point Italy looked like it would be the worst affected but there are at least 2 or 3 countries who are going to be worse and could be way more.
