Unusual Cover Versions

It's time for Phoebe Bridgers' annual cover version. She's chosen to cover one of my favourite tunes, by one of my favourite bands and I must confess it leaves me a bit "Meh". It might grow on me.

Had it on a while sorting breakfast and yes, it's grown on me.

Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do by Jack Leopards and the Dolphin Club, as heard on Killing Eve.

Interestingly Jack Leopards and the Dolphin Club is actually Taylor Swift, her brother Austin and Jack Antonoff (who has collaborated with Taylor Swift on many of her best albums).

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott - Since You've Been Gone

"Interestingly" the best-known version by Rainbow is a cover, original was by former Argent guitarist Russ Ballard and first released on his 1976 album Winning
Jacqui Abbott is a national treasure many are unaware of

The Boss is making a soul album. A couple of other Northern Soul anthems on there apparently

I wasn't a lover of Springsteen's cover of 'Do I Love You' but it's certainly grown on me the more I've heard it. Springsteen also covers the Commodores hit 'Nightshift' and is really good. I think it is the best song on his new album.

Dear Santa - If you are reading this, can you please get me Only the Strong Survive on vinyl ;)
