Unconscious Woman on Dockside Road

Hit by a driver who had places to be so couldn’t wait around for people walking in front of his car I think

Very surprised he didn’t get his windows caved in. Looked very likely to happen at one point
He was a d*ck and couldn’t see out of his window as it was all misted up. 3 people were arguing with him and a few near misses before he hit the lady.

She was conscious and sat up before Been taken to hospital in an ambulance I believe more of a precaution

Ridiculous. The authorities really need to clamp down on illegal parking in the area.

There was a few near misses near the college as well of impatient drivers trying to save a few seconds.

Glad she's ok. From what I saw of the incident, the lad just remained in his car. Surely if you hit someone your natural reaction is to get out and see if they are ok. This provoked an angry reaction from many who surrounded the car. I heard the lad say "well it's a road?".

from the ground to the railway crossing was a disgrace last night. with cars stuck on the road trying to get past pedestrians.thought there was going to be a crush at one point

It’s the same every single game. They used to hold the cars and the Police would actually do their job and stop cars coming down Dockside road from the opposite direction, doesn’t happen anymore and it’s incredibly dangerous. No cars should be let out until the crowd has dispersed it’s not rocket science.

I used to park that side of the ground and pretty much every game there was a near miss or some verbals between a driver and pedestrians. Particularly after a bad result unfortunately.

In the olden days we used to get held back by a police officer actually standing in the entrance to the car park, well i say car park, I mean one of the yards on dockside Road. That was much more organised.

Hope the person who was hit is OK and makes full recovery.

I hope members of the crowd got his registration and reported his actions to the police and the driver receives the appropriate punishment for his crime.

Sorry to say things like these are the thin end of the wedge when you have people in charge of Cleveland Police who are inept and incompetent.

Public safety on the roads outside events like football matches should be adequately covered to avoid situations like this, the fact they aren't needs to be challenged and re-iterated as failure by those responsible.

I hope the woman is ok, and makes a full recovery and that this event causes the powers that be to act and proper police the area before a serious injury or fatally occurs.

Hope she's okay.

I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more often, as there are always impatient ****. trying to edge their way through the crowd in their cars.

I’ve said it before, somebody will die there before things change. I’ve no idea after so many near misses the club and council haven’t sorted it. I’ve no idea why drivers parking at the ground get there 20 minutes before kick off

I was nearly hit by a car outside the Navigation last night, actually.

I'd just brushed it off as me not paying enough attention to my surroundings but I was part of the big crowd still.
