Facetious I appreciate but come on one game where the gaffer isn’t in the ground shouldn’t affect the teams performance that much. Surely Blackwell is paid well to ensure the message and plan are adhered to consistently.

Honestly I beg to differ. Warnocks influence will still be applied via his team of coaches. He may also be able to talk with the squad via zoom meetings at the training HQ if they need inspiring words. I think people can overplay his temporary absence.
