UK to host Eurovision next year

It won’t be Edinburgh. They haven’t got a venue big enough.

It was kind of announced unofficially last month that we we would host. Favourites are Glasgow and Liverpool. Cardiff 3rd.

Love Eurovision, going back to being allowed to stay up late and watch Lynsey De Paul in 1977! Hopefully another decent UK entry. Reckon it will be in the Pool and a bit of Beatles themed thing?!

I feel like Eurovision has almost had a resurgence in the last few years.

It's not generally my thing, but I found myself captivated by the randomness and theatrics of it when watching it with the wife and kids over the last few years.

I love Eurovision!!! Always wanted to go...I'll deffo be trying to get tickets.

The prices make Gibbos walk up prices seem halfway reasonable.

Jesus, I knew they would be steep but not that steep!!

Spooky!
Only was listening to Rock Bottom this afternoon in the car!

Tickets are pricey yes so I recommend going to one of the semi finals or the "family final" which is cheaper and they are the same acts and songs. Tickets for the grand final will be as rare as rocking horse poo sadly.

Not sure if I'd go to the actual event , but we do watch it every year here at home .
It's just good entertainment I believe 👍

Seems a good decision. Spaceman would've won it anyway in normal times
As it's the BBC it'll be London, Manchester or possibly Liverpool.
Manchester will be my guess

I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to Glasgow. BBC have a big HQ right by the venue and it doesn’t have an Event booked at the Hydro in May next year yet.
