Great month for the British manufacturing sector:
▪️ McMurtry Automotive plans to build a road-legal version of its Spéirling electric car after the single-seater smashed Goodwood’s Festival of Speed hill climb record with a time of 39.08 seconds.
▪️ Renishaw is investing more than £50 million at its Miskin plant in South Wales to significantly increase its UK manufacturing capacity.
▪️ Tevva launched the first hydrogen electric truck designed and built in the UK.
▪️ Norton Motorcycles announced plans to begin developing electric bikes in the UK after securing significant investment.
▪️ Rolls-Royce is opening a new headquarters in Manchester and creating 850 jobs this year to support the rapid growth of its small modular reactor business.
▪️ Meggitt officially opened its new £130 million 'super site' at Ansty Park in Coventry - the largest single investment in the firm's history.
▪️ Smith+Nephew announced plans to build a new £80 million production and R&D facility in Melton, near Hull.
▪️ BAE Systems was awarded a £500 million contract to support the delivery of 20 new Typhoon aircraft for the Spanish Air Force.
▪️ JCB is creating 200 new jobs and ramping up production at its Cheadle, Uttoxeter and Rocester sites.
▪️ Alexander Dennis, the UK's largest bus and coach manufacturer, opened a new multi-million pound facility in Farnborough, Hampshire.

▪️ Ciner’s new £390 million glass bottle manufacturing plant in Ebbw Vale - one of Wales’ largest ever industrial investments - is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs.
▪️ Hybrid Air Vehicles secured an order worth hundreds of millions of pounds from Spanish airline Air Nostrum for ten of its Airlander 10 hybrid aircraft. The British manufacturer is set to begin production in South Yorkshire this year, creating 1,800 jobs.

And he's doing great. Crawling about but wants to be stood up most of the time. He'd be walking but his balance is terrible such is his young age.
I know just how he feels and I'm way beyond a young age. You just have to keep practising I've learned. Here's to him keeping his sense of adventure.
