Tyne Tyne tv

I’m really fed up of the Mackem love in on TTees..I believe if we had as much exposure and relative success in the Premier League over the last 20 years we would prove we can have bigger crowds and a better club than them. In terms of local rivalry…..ffffuuuk em.

Do yourself a favour and don’t watch it - it’s absolute bollox. Seriously I’d be embarrassed if Middlesbrough based presenters went on about our area the way those Geordie clowns do. It doesn’t matter what the news item is, could be anywhere in the world, if it’s got even the remotest connection to Newcastle or Sunderland it has to be pointed out like it’s some big achievement 😵‍💫

correct we are third ... at the moment ... league position will dictate running order .... 1 from 6 is relegation form ... I know its early doors but was hoping to get the first 3 or 4 games off to a positive start .... roller coaster Boro

I don't actually care, televised local news coverage is obsolete in my life, but Sunderland were getting covered first even when they were in League One.

It's population sizes that is deciding it.

There are more Sunderland fans than Middlesbrough fans, and there are more Newcastle fans than both, so they focus on where more of their audience are.
