WTF is happening to it? Noticed I'm getting more and more tweets from full on racists and conspiracy theorists under the "top stories" option, today its gone to a new level over Nottingham, promoting the the discusing tweets of 2 convicted race haters.

I take I'm not alone as I've done nothing to make an algorithm think I'm ripe for their s####e
 
Just a thought - have you tabbed the right option at the top of the page?

You can opt for ’following’ so you only get tweets you want or
’for you’ - that’s just a basket case
 
Closed my account when Musk bought it as it was plain that the intention was to allow "free speech" under the simple solution of allowing "all speech".

I occasionally will look at sources on there when others link to them but otherwise it's a sewer.

Yes I mean on the for you rather than following, I used to like the for you option to get different posters but it's hopeless now for anything vaguely political and getting worse
 
I had that when Musk first started messing with it, but you can do a few things to stop it, or at least stop getting so many. Just click on the three dots on the tweet and click ‘not interested in this’. Even do the same to some of the accounts, mute some of the repeat offenders.
