Twisterella 2023 Playlist and my picks for the day.

Here is as promised on another thread are Playlists for all the stages for this year’s Twisterella. Every band is covered where I could find them on Spotify. Think there is only Liz Corney and Irked not represented plus one pop-up stage not announced yet.

The lists are sorted to follow Clashfinder so it runs from Teesside Uni SU Hub down to Pop-Up venues last. Artists may get 3 songs if I really like them on a sliding scale to 1 if they are not my cup of tea. That’s not to say those with only one song are bad in fact quite the opposite in some cases but they just were not for me. In fact as I am playing these as I type other artists are coming to the fore(like Kitty Fitz and Me Lost Me). Hope this helps you plan your day. Looking forward to it. I have added my picks with voting out of three stars and those I want to see noted(that may not happen when I check clashes)

TBH probably wont visit OTG or CE stages due to clashes with other artists I would rather see and the distance to get back to main venue area with times being tight. Unless I can get my @rse in gear and get to Boro early enough to catch Dressed Like Wolves.

Just getting into Gone Tomorrow. Saw them early in their career but was not really impressed. They have come on a bundle.

And impressed by Suds.

I have a soft spot for Gone Tomorrow because my niece's young un is in the band. They were quite raw when they first started gigging but they were very young at the time (they are only 18/19 years old now). They've certainly come on in leaps and bounds in the last couple of years.

This is my well planned march that will go t*ts up after first pint of Strongbow. Those greyed out are bands I would like to see but are clashes or too far away to get back for others I would rather see.

Hmm, I might be getting the bus down to the bus station, starting at Cafe Etch around 12 for a bite to eat and then Rik, then the Bottled Note for Melanie Baker before catching most of Dutch Uncles. Would I need a wristband to get in those first two venues do you reckon?

Drat. Doubt I'll want to walk up to the Uni then back down to cafe etch, then back up again to the uni. Probably Dutch Uncles it is to start then.

Dutch Uncles, The Joy Hotel and Opus Kink are my definites (maybe Avalanche Party if I can be bothered to fight my way into the Townhouse). Other than those I'm going to decide on the spur of the moment as I've not checked out any other bands
