Hooked from first show - lots of suspense but it is a bit opaque making you want to know more about the character, but just as much what others thought of him - messiah or fake? The main character is very well played and appears educated, magnetic and able to influence those around him. The main US agent on his tail is also a good character but has issues of her own which I feel are unecessary in the contents of delivering this series.
Excellent if stodgy in the early stages, though I will say that there are some side stories that are just filler and it is uneven at times. If you stick with it to around the third episode it really does become compelling and binge worthy. Your mileage may vary.
For me a solid 8/10 and I'd like to see it renewed.
