On New Zealand Sky network there are two channels called Jones! and Jones Too!

These channels are addictive as they rerun old classic tv progs that would appeal to to an age group of many on here.

On this last two days

Rawhide
Twilight Zone
Beverley Hillbillies
Onedin Line
Munsters
Gilligans Island
The Fugitive
Bewitched
Ironside
Charlies Angels
Perry Mason
Lost in Space
Mr Ed

I dont think theres a UK equivalent?

"Yesterday" on freeview is popular , a yearning for simpler times no doubt. I've caught bits of " murder she wrote" and " on the buses" when round the mother in laws ( honest).
They've not dated well.

How about Forces TV?

Ive been watching the old Battlestar Galactica & Chips on there for a couple of months now, plus plenty of 70's & 80's British sitcoms like Robins Nest - Tessa Wyatt mmmmmmm

Pretty much any channel after 5 on the freeview list covers this!

It’s hard to believe On the Buses was one of the top sitcoms of its day, the scripts are rubbish! The real stars of the programme are the Bristol Lodekka Buses which used to be so common in the 60s and 70s. United had 264 of them.

There wasn't many American classics in that list you posted. A lot of programs that look very dated these days.
That’s the point. Clearly you don’t find them of interest but a lot of people do. UK has TalkingPicturesTv which is aimed at those who like British films of the 40-60s many of which would be in your category of “dated”.

I would love to see a channel showing many of those 60s American shows but I suspect there isnt the demand in the UK. I dare say New Zealand was brought up on these US TV in the 60s and more familiar with them.

I know the owners of Talking Pictures TV. They are a small outfit based out of Watford and the reason they got it going was that they took films that no other channel wanted to show and as a consequence were very cheap. I suspect the likes of Twilight Zone and the Beverley Hillbillies would cost.

Yes you are probably right.
