I know there are a few general trump threads but this just so ludicrous it needs to it’s own issue

Trump floats dangerous coronavirus treatment idea…:

trump has said a lot of crazy stuff in his spell at the whitehouse but nothing on this level in a medical briefing on the nations biggest crisis to sour this in front of his best medical professionals as though he is the expert in the room.

The Republican party must take action at some point? To ease him out of the way and replace him before the elections.
 
Does anyone advise him or does he just say whatever comes into his head? The man is getting more deranged and dangerous.
 
So he will now take away vital researchers to look at an idea he has just thought of and as we all know trump is never wrong so I’d imagine he’ll push this for weeks.
 
The disinfectant thing is entirely bat ship crazy! The heat and light thing is interesting isn’t it? Some viruses do degrade faster with heat (it seems not this one) and UV light certainly kills bacteria and has been known to kill some viruses. Still to have the president just spewing out unproven COD science is a very dangerous thing
 
The look on the doctor's face isn't enough. IMO she should be answering him "no, sir that would be incredibly dangerous and quite probably fatal"

Surrounding yourself with yes men/women is just what he is used to. He said he would "drain the swamp" it really looks more like he has invited the swamp round for tea.

I'm with Jam here. He appealed (only) to his base during the campaign, it worked, and he's doing it again. We're talking here about people who would find that sort of comment a) funny, b) insighful or c) an example of thinking outside of the box/anti-establishment thinking. Probably a mix of all three with severe mental deficiency thrown into the mix.

I agree but we all know it’s not wise to question caesar, and if she did she wouldn’t in the room tomorrow night.

look at Fauci and how he is threatened on as daily basis with being fired.
Trump even like a tweet that someone posted calling for him to be sacked.
