Trump continues to MAGA

I see the latest Iran winning project lasted about 5 minutes before it folded.
What is going on with this operation 'Freedom'? Was it for the US to show they can break the Iranian blockade of the Strait? Or was it to find out if they could and they have decided they can't? Or has it been used to try to get Iran to climb down and accept a harsh peace?

On the face of it is just makes the US look even weaker, Hegseth in particular. Maybe the plan is to use the failure of the operation to sack Hegseth. Now that would be funny.

Lads and lasses at Lockheed must have done some overtime last two weeks. Bet a few were putting in 26-30 hour days to hit Trumps claims.

Saying that anything to do with Trump, they won't get paid.
Not sure if you're being serious, but just in case - it doesn't matter how much overtime they're doing, they can't possibly have doubled the amount of missiles the US had at the start of the conflict. Most estimates I've seen say that it will take 3-4 years (minimum) just to get back to where they were when the war started.

I think HMBs post was perhaps a joke 😉

It was purely to get DJ Rubio to publicity state "Iran better check themselves before they wreck themselves".

Yes, that's why I said I wasn't sure if he was being serious.
I was being facetious.

It is estimated that it will take about 3 years to replenish the stockpile of missiles they had. So bit of Sat/Sun overtime at Lockheed.....might produce a couple of components?

So Trumps claims.......deary me. Worst thing is MAGA will believe everything 🤦🏻‍♂️

Isn't t this a technical fudge? Couldn't they only do a "conflict" for 60 days without approval to declare it a war. So they've ended Project Epic Fury and created a new one "Project Freedom" to start the 60 day clock again.

Yep he’s making it up as he goes along an apparently no one has the balls to truly challenge. Don’t know how many times he and his cronies can publicly say “we’re not at war” ….

The takeover continues….

‘Trump-aligned dark money groups spent upwards of $7m on TV ads in Indiana this year, according to a tally from AdImpact – the majority spent targeting Republicans who allied themselves with Democrats in the December redistricting’

Not a declaration of war such. The US hasn’t bothered with one of those since 1944. I think they fought the odd one since!

The 1973 War Powers Congressional Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30-day withdrawal period, without congressional authorization for use of military force (AUMF) OR a formal Declaration of War.

No President since has recognised its constitutionality, which has never been tested, but they all kind of pay lip service to it. Which I guess is what this post is getting at.

Trump does lots of egregious things. Not declaring war when he goes to war is not one of them. They all do that.
