Probably nothing will become of those either. It’s down to waiting for the midterm elections, and Trump is already trying to alter the voting laws, mail in voting and such. The Dems poll lead is at best at the moment is only between 3%- 6%. The next 24 hours should be ‘interesting’

I've been discussing what the use of nuclear weapons would mean for the likelihood of triggering the 25th amendment and the likelihood of Trump being removed from office.
As it stands, the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Alex Jones are calling for this anyway, and those aren't ringing endorsements in the eyes of the sane, and Vance and the cabinet seem united behind Trump, and they are the ones with authority/responsibility under the consitution.
But if nuclear weapons were used? Certainly it would increase pressure from outside. But if that were to happen, would that not put greater focus on them with questions of "why didn't you act sooner"? I suspect it will make them just dig in deeper and hold on for the ride.
