Just when you think he can’t sink any lower..

As President Donald Trump's days in the White House wane, his administration is racing through a string of federal executions.

Five executions are scheduled before President-elect Joe Biden's 20 January inauguration - breaking with an 130-year-old precedent of pausing executions amid a presidential transition.

And if all five take place, Mr Trump will be the country's most prolific execution president in more than a century, overseeing the executions of 13 death row inmates since July of this year.

So he has gone from tyrant to wannabe dictator to despot with his own body count to match.

What pathetic creature he is.
 
The death penalty is just plain wrong at any time.
When his thoughts are to murder people to a timescale makes him mentally ill.

The USA has really to consider letting any President stay in office 11 weeks after losing an election.
The whole world will breathe a collective sigh of relief at noon Jan 20
 
To think the planet has endured five years of his tyranny . He is as mad as a box of frogs and when he is kicked out , questions need to be asked of how the hell they
let him in charge .

Agree, I know it’s not a popular opinion on here as everyone likes to be outraged but I was surprised when he ‘had Covid’ and people on here criticized others for not wishing him a speedy recovery. I couldn’t give a f*ck about his health or if he suffers, he’s an awful human and the world will be better when he’s dead.
 
A truly awful man but Americans need to ask themselves how they got to this position where 70m people still chose to vote for him.

I think we'll be asking ourselves similar questions in this country as well when the aftermath of Brexit hits home.
 
Think I read the supreme court voted 9-0 against. Surprised that woman he he airlifted in a few weeks back voted against Trump.

That's how it appears but I'm not so sure. I suspect that the majority of the 126 are frightened cowards more inclined to support the 'Dear Leader' out of fear than stand up for democracy. As he fades from relevance so their support will evaporate.

In its infancy good old Abe claimed the Union was "government of the people, by the people , for the people". There was a bit additional before Abe and Gettysburg that all stated it was “ answerable to the people “

The sad part is it will make him more popular with his idiotic followers !
 
Sorry o.p going off the thread a bit with previous Q posted.
My view on the tradition of 'pausing of executions' is that it is a particularly cruel system which allows this in the first place.
 
If the GOP continue to be seditious then I hope the Biden administration, the FBI and the judiciary go after them and nip this cowardly assault on their country in the bud.
