Travel bans coming?

No, holiday resorts are desperate for our cash. I was in the canaries for a long time during Boris’ travel ban and the worst of our time, all the cañarían government and local businesses fretted about was getting the Brits back.

I think the problem for Morocco and a lot of Africa is their low level of vaccinations, so they need to be cautious. Btw they haven’t imposed a travel ban on brits, just direct flights, you can go via another country if double jabbed or a negatory PCR test.
 
Yeah you can’t blame them. The sodding vaccine travel lane to Singapore has only opened this week. I but it shuts sharpish.

let’s see what happens when EU countries ban us? The express will have a field day with the word “punishment”
 
I read earlier that the Morroco ban came in force in September?

I hope not, got a trip booked end of November. Perhaps they’ll go for vaccine passports instead?

I think they are fast tracking two retro viral drugs molnupiravir and ritonavir to supress the surge of hospitalisations and death (reckoned to cut mortality and serious illness by better than 50% when administered to those at risk) the Government have already bought 730,000 doses so I would expect that clinical approval is just about a done deal.

The laws on mask wearing on public transport and places like supermarkets should never have been lifted to just reduce the transmission rate. So when they try to throw the "scientists" under the bus remember that this was in direct contradiction of scientific consensus.
 
Just paid last week for a flight , train and hotel for Christmas week in Germany, fortunately paid for Covid cover last when I bought annual travel insurance…think it’s going to be of value, b***r.
