Haha !! taking your Bournemouth head off the game, did you Enjoy watching Adama? I bet he had you worried nearly every time he picked the ball up and dribbled at the defence.
I thought we handled him quite well, marked him tight & doubled up. But the one time he escaped, he won the game with a perfect cross. I used to laugh at his final ball, but now he seems the complete article, will be interesting to see how far he goes. Top european club?
I’ve a feeling Kane is on his way to Manure so money won’t stop themI was told months ago by someone in the know hat he is going to spurs for 60m + unless Liverpool have upped the bid . We shall see
I think Adama‘s problem getting established has been that he is a bit unconventional for the modern possession game. He is all about explosive bursts which do terminal damage to even the best defences. In a game full of short passing routines some coaches, including Nunes at first, struggle to fit him in.Didn’t Wolves manager play him in differeng positions in training so he learnt those players games ? Then accordingly linked in better with them
Everybody used to bang on about how many assists he had. However, he created opportunities every game he played. People just chose to remember the poor crosses and decisions he made. His speed and power was always exceptional. His job as an attacking player to me, was to score or put the ball into very dangerous areas for others to score. For example using his turn of pace at just the right time.
Ref starting games : he didn't start many games at Wolves last season, it was not just Boro that he didn't start and at Wolves he was 2 years on from AK days.
