Traore

One of the best things about Boro doing well since Carrick took over is people stopped going on about Traore and more recently Tavernier. Let it lie :)

PS. I never used to get that excited when Traore was on the ball at Boro, I never expected anything to come of it.
There was always the lottery of where the final ball was going to end up.

No thanks on both players.
That was then, this is now. A CF who is injured more often than not from a relegation haunted side.
And a player who is like a rerun of Proj Emnes. If he can't get into a struggling Wolves side then he would not be good enough for a Promoted Boro side.
Look forward- not backwards unless you want us to be like Wolves or Leeds.

Not for me, no. Carrick and Scott are building a dynamic pacy team, and whilst Traore has some pace, he does not have the end product of a Ramsey, even Forss. Bamford has played for the dirtees now, so its a no from me. Another striker like Gyokeres would be the future rather than Bamford (the past).

I can't believe the old end product argument is coming out with Traore again. That final season with us he was unstoppable. Creating and scoring goals out of nothing. Given a run of games he will deliver. He's a defender's nightmare.

Controversial but we have a team now of genuinely intelligent footballers. I dont think he fits into this style/team at all.

Impact sub maybe, odd game, maybe. Entertaining? To a point. But I'd much prefer a Ramsey, a downing, even a James Morrison type. Not as athletic, but all more intelligent "footballers" that would benefit this style and team much more than traore.

Agree. Brighton and their style of football is what we should be aspiring to and what Im think we are getting to. Pass and move at speed. Players need intelligence and to run off the ball as well as on it. Spectacular though on the ball he was at times Traore just hasn’t got that side to his game consistently.

Wouldn’t be against it
Massively overrated, I’d seriously rather have forss, scores goals, traore never did.
Traores final ball not good enough for his talent (or pace)
Forss works his socks off to HELP the team whereas traore never did…
I don’t dislike him just think he was forever disappointing us
