Palace have a bid in for Rav and Hackney. Most fans will be underwhelmed with the fee but it includes a player in the opposite direction too. Not 100% that it will come off at this stage though.

Rav originally didn't want to move to London but has warmed to the idea now. He looked around Brentford prior to signing for us. He didn't like the busy London lifestyle.
The fee for Rav is in the region of £15m. I don't know about the fee for Hackney.

Rav has turned down 2 new contract offers from us within the last 12 months.

We're 90% there on a new signing who will join up with the squad mid way through next week in Portugal.

Appreciate the info. Hopefully things will start to move soon. £15m fir Rav is more than fair in my eyes

Wouldn’t blame either of them, but hopefully the deal is good for the club too.

A lot of changes yet again this summer.

Just been a rumour as far as I knew.. 🤷‍♂️ So I suppose I'm just confirming the rumour?
I don't think there has been any previous mention of a player coming in the opposite direction.

I'd be happy to put down the inconsistency in Ravs form down to a stop / start season due to injuries.
Anyone who doesn't think there is a potentially phenomenal defender in there, doesn't know football. In my own opinion of course.

Young fringe player.

The club have also decided that the model of bringing in young players with high potential / future sale value is not something that should happen 'as a rule'.
So, expect to see some more experienced players coming in with less of a high future potential value, but offer more in the way of experience.
The model is being 'tweaked' shall we say.

That is good news as the team definitely lacked leaders last season.
