Trains to hibs away

Confirmed cancelled for me.

Seems to be one train to Edinburgh on the day, but no trains back from Darlington.

The email is confusing, it says "the northern service from middlesbrough will no longer run" - is that just from middlesbrough to darlington?

There's a provisional LNER timetable showing trains are running - just less frequently - https://www.lner.co.uk/globalassets/saturday-26-november-2022---strike-day---northbound---bid.pdf

and my email says "your journey has been changed" not cancelled - but my bookings page hasn't updated

Yeah, it just seems like the Northern trains are cancelled, so I suppose people who can get to Darlington can still go ahead.

I had booked directly with LNER however somehow managed to be on a Trans Pennine coming back, prior to the strike announcement and the subsequent cancellation. Up until they moved the outbound train from 9.10am to 9.07am then my only option to cancel my advance ticket was payment in vouchers. Until, as I say, they moved my train 3 minutes which enabled me to cancel fully. I hope this is cash and not vouchers as the return cancellation was nothing of my doing. Fingers crossed and car journey it is.

No refunds from MFC, which is irritating.

I know the rail strike isn't their fault, so I can't get too mad.

Trains for the game will be leaving Darlo station with passengers faces pressed against the inside of the windows of the carriages.
