They can’t anyway. It an opposition day motion. There will be a vote, unless they can provide a way prevent it. They’re usual trick is to abstain. Which is good because the whole motion is designed as a trap for which way the Tories end up voting.
It will look very bad if they vote against the motion. Voting for no accountability for alleged corruption.

Even if they abstain does it still mean the contract correspondence has to be released?
 
What Mone has done, especially as a serving Parliamentarian, is beyond despicable and her actions will have lead, directly or indirectly, to deaths that could have been prevented, her greed and corruption has cost lives, she will not be the only one and this should be the catalyst for a full series of investigations into every facet of Covid contract award.

Justice must be done and all those, regardless of political persuasion, who profited or are complicit with any wrongdoing should be prosecuted and measures introduced that stop any repeat.

My suspicion is that this will go to the very top of Government and uncover a whole system of corrupt cabals that have fleeced the taxpayers of billions.

Her and her old fella are just a couple of financial gangsters.
Using Trusts, tax loopholes and dodgy offshore companies and 'connections' to avoid the laws that the rest of us mortals have to abide by.
They just got too greedy.
Looks like their Tory mates might be adandoning them...... and they could become fall guys.
Really hope one or both get some time...... but I very much doubt it.

They will be liquidating assets as we speak and buying houses in a country that has no extradition treaty with UK.

Places like Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, and Syria.

Best of luck with that, although property is cheap there.
