But at least we will have a second party that is a bit more central. Labour won't be in for ever and if and when the tories get back in its less damaging if they are more central.Surely at some point, the party will be split into two, I'd guess that Reform is already the start of it. The mad brexiteer, ideology based, uber-equivocators will move to Reform and take a sizeable number of dunderheads with them. It'll shear 30% of the Tory vote. The remaining middle-ground, non-ideological Tories will be left with a seriously damaged party which will take a decade or more to restore.
Unfortunately some UK residents will always think that poor people are lazy and the safety net needs to be smaller.
