How do you forget to put one on, when it is literally sign posted everywhere, announced over the tannoy system and every other passenger is wearing one!?

Also bags on chairs!!

I think in this instance "forget" means "chose not to".

Similar to "change of emphasis" actually meaning "U-turn".

To be fair I wouldnt be overly impressed with some sneak tacking pics of me😂

I don't think the person taking the photo expected him to be impressed to be fair. And I may be giving you the benefit of the doubt but I'm guessing you're not a hypocritical MP flaunting your immunity to rules in a public place? :)

He's proably right that the person should've told him to put it on rather than sitting watching him without one for the whole journey. I don't believe however it's possible toaccidentally not wear one. I can imagine if you were distracted and in a rush you could temporarily forget, but as soon as you notice other people and the endless number of signs you'd put one on. Also you'd think as a Tory MP you'd be very conscious of the need to comply with the government message.

Is it not the number one mandatory thing you need to be thinking about this day and age when using public transport??

Simply getting annoyed because he's been pinged.

No excuse.

Nothing to see here we can confirm he drove to Barnard Castle the day before so we’re happy he didn’t break the rules. Honest.

Tory voters be like but what about that labour MP who didn’t put there mask on straight away when visiting B&Q last month
