Exactly thiscue the long list of popular but ultimately meaningless Tory party policies designed to swing the popular vote with one hand, whilst simultaneously continuing to pick our pockets with the other hand.
I fully expect another Tory government after the next election after Labour continue to miss open goal after open goal.
Fooking depressing.
Satan will be skating to work before we get a tory government at the next election.Exactly this
I meant I agreed with the first sentence- not the second one:)Satan will be skating to work before we get a tory government at the next election.
Thats already started this morning SteerIt worked in the London by-election a couple of months ago. So expect to hear a lot more about the Wales 20mph limit, plus scaremongering that Labour will make all of England a massive 20mph zone and will make the whole of the country an ULEZ zone.
15 minute cities will be imposed on us by the socialist cabal that is the WEF, coupled with the speed reduction to 20mph you will then be restricted to 78 square miles rather than 176 square miles and you will need permission to go any further. It worked in the London by-election a couple of months ago. Look how disgusting it will be...
The Jeremy Clarksons of this world who park where they want will love it.It's all just popularist nonsense.
I said immediately after the by-election win fought on ULEZ that the Tories would go down this route and I was right.
Drivers are a huge proportion of the electorate and as anyone who spends any time behind the wheel will know, appealling to the selfishness of the driving population will be a vote winner.
While I've no issue with making appeals to fines easier, it'd never have been on the agenda if the Tories weren't so unpopular. Much easier to do than making a proper public transport system that'd negate parking, emissions and a lot of other issues.
In fairness I like this policy but it’s not enough to make me vote for them after 13 years of dismantling the economy!Shows how desperate the Tories are if this is what Sunak has come up with to win the next GE.
