Top gear tonight

I can honestly say, thankfully, I've never, ever, ever, watched a full epsiode of top gear in all the years its been on TV

I quite enjoyed it. Not as good as last week due to the excellent Eddie Kid piece but I actually these 3. Best group since the original 3. I'm not a massive car nerd though so just see it as entertainment. I can imagine those who are into their cars won't be fans.

Really enjoyed the Eddie Kidd tribute. It's something Top Gear has always done well over the years from the Sabine tribute to the Colin McRae tribute and the Ayton Senna one. The Eddie tribute brought a tear to my eye during the stunt show at the end. You could see how much it meant to him. I thought it was absolutely fantastic that Eddie and his family allowed us to peek into his life as it is now after giving up so much to entertain the public.
You are only going to find hardcore car shows on YouTube now.

Seconded. The Eddie Kid tribute was superb in the first episode. TBF the "911 rivals" section was OK too. Even if only the Aston was even remotely a 911 rival

Haven't seen tonight's show but it's on my sky q box

Yes I agree they are the best since Clarkson May and Hammond but the programs are no where near as good as the originals. Its watchable now where I used to look forward to it before.

It's alright. It's probably the 'best' it's been since it's glory years (although not a patch on them). I remember looking forward to the new series and Xmas specials with the old gang.

It's very light hearted Sunday evening TV. Paddy can be a bit much. I mean I'm northern yet he's that 'northern' he annoys me😂

The Eddie Kidd episode was class. I wasn't suprised to see it go back to normal last night. I guess if I hated it that much then I wouldn't watch. I don't overly like folk moaning about TV or films. It's a pretty simple thing to do.... Switch off or change the channel.

Can't be as bad as when Chris Evans and Joey from Friends were stinking out the place.

It's fine. Sunday night, leave your brains behind the sofa, entertainment. It is a long time since CMH were a "must watch" that was no longer the case even when they were still doing it and if you need a fix of them still doing the same schtick watch the Amazon thing. I watched the "Lochdown" special thing at the height of lockdown boredom and last night's Top Gear was just better in every way, yet had a very similar set up (towing caravans but in Scotland rather than Northumberland).

It was ok, nothing more. The big road trips and panoramic camera shots are what makes it good for me - none of them so far this season

It's never really been about cars... Despite being a motoring show.

99% of cars they 'review' are cars we won't own (or wouldn't want to). The majority of the review is how fast it goes around a track. That's 'useful' 😂

You want a new car review with actual information then watch YouTube
