"We used to go to the Turkish restaurant in Redcar all the time, Martha's and then Aruba. He was some guy, Tuncay, he loved his Jack Daniels. We were in Aruba and people would catch our eye and double take: 'Is that Stewy Downing and Tuncay?'.
"We'd go back to our house and Tunny would finish off his Jack Daniels. He had a mate who used to drive him everywhere. That was a cracking time. It was good fun."

I was listening to Roy Keane and Gary Neville saying the difference between Man Utd & Liverpool in the 90s was their approach to the game and not drinking was a big part of that. I wonder if would have made any difference that season we went down?
