Tony Pulis

"pulis is like an abusive partner." See this is the kind of hyperbole I'm talking about. He's a football manager who wasn't here very long and was only ever on an 18 month deal, if it made some fans question their own commitment to the club that's not his problem, and its not his fault they have such non-negotiable demands of their football club.

"If you still can not for the life of you understand the feeling toward pulis, then check it out if he ever gets back to The Riverside as a manager when there are crowds allowed." I don't dispute that many hate him, but I don't agree with all the 'sucks the life out of the club' and 'set us back five years stuff' - its just illogical and based on the hateful emotions many have towards him.

"For the record, I would not mourn his death. You mourn the loss of something you love, admire, value or respect." - Fine, but I mean the fact you even want to point that out kind of proves what I was saying above.

Out of interest who do you think was worse? Woodgate I get, albeit he also had a poorer squad and WGS too, Apart from that?
Woodgate was the worst by a mile.

If Downing hit his free kick and inch lower we could have gone to penalties and won. An unpopular opinion but I thought he was better than Monk.

Bamford is doing well now, because he has a superb manager. Prior to going to Leeds he has flopped at a lot of clubs.

Bamford is doing well now because he is a superb player, that's why.
Most of us could see that, but pulis can only see money...for himself.

Strachan caused me to turf in my season ticket. Pulis had same effect.
I never thought that he had a particular dislike for FB's. I just thought his baseline was to pick his tallest players, forcany position. Antifootball is his game.

He hasn't flopped at a lot of clubs. All the places he's been at for a longer period, where he's actually been played he's done well - MK Dons, Derby, Boro and Leeds.
Dyche didn't give him a look in at Burnley and Palace and Norwich were loans where he didn't get a look in, but you're only talking a year and a bit where he was moved around 3 clubs

Game of opinions.

He is a very good player and gets into positions to score goals but he misses a lot of chances.

He had a very good time for us in his first spell and he has had a very good few seasons at Leeds. A lot of managers and pundits don’t fancy him.

Even the Leeds fans were turning against him in the last few years.

I would say that the Leeds boss is getting an extra 30-40percent out of every player.

Whilst it sometimes takers the right manager to help a player reach their full potential, Bamford's talent has been obvious since he was here on loan. He literally has the lot int terms of his game, it's only been his application of that thats been in question.

In other words Bamford looks a good player now because he is a good player.

He's missed chances for Leeds without doubt, but it wasn't an affliction he had at Boro, he normally stuck his chances away.

I would have sold Braithwaite and not loaned Hugill in the summer of 2018. And kept Bamford.

We would have had Britt, Bamford, Fletcher and Gestede - we never played more than 2 forwards at the same time.
